Ross Balch

Ross Balch is a self-described “science nerd” and a long-time member of the skeptic community. He was one of the founding members as well as the President of the Brisbane Skeptic Society and remains on the committee today.

Ross is also passionate about science communication and hosts the Science Club Show and appeared in a number of podcasts, such as Non-Peer Reviewed and Brainstorm Podcast.

Ross now works as a researcher into the diagnosis of microbiological diseases and is especially interested in applying the use of bioinformatics and deep learning.
