Dr Michael Foley

Michael is a Brisbane dentist. He chairs the Australian Dental Association's (ADA) Oral Health Committee and is a frequent media spokesperson for the ADA. He holds Master’s degreesin Public Health and Epidemiology and is currently studying for a PhD in dental public health. Michael is a Past President of the ADA in Queensland, and a long-time advocate for water fluoridation and public health. He has written on water fluoridation and evidence-based and ‘holistic’ dentistry for Friends of Science in Medicine, The Conversation and Croakey, and lectures frequently on these topics.
