UPDATE: TGA Amendment Bill

Last week I spoke with well known anti-quackery crusader Associate Professor Ken Harvey about the recently passed amendments to the TGA Bill on the Skeptic Zone podcast.

Short summary:

The senate has passed TGA all of the proposed amendments regarding abolishment of advertising pre-approvals, permissible indication list and ambitious complaints system, despite those who voiced their concerns.

The new amendments are set to come into action in July 2018.
